Hermitage Brewing has deep roots. Our first brewpub opened in 1987, one of the first half dozen in the Golden State. It is still open. Our production facility in San Jose opened in 2008 and has rapidly earned a seat at the table of the top 5% by volume breweries in the USA. The size gives us crazy access to technology, people, hops, etc. We are fortunate, but you may not have heard about us because we brew for many other Bay Area breweries. Our own brand is just now coming into it’s own.

Peace Among Worlds Hermitage Brewing Company is one of the many lucky breweries participating in Ales for ALS in 2018. This is a concept where participating breweries are offered access to an experimental hop blend in exchange to create a delicious brew and donate a portion of beer sales to ALS TDI. "Peace Among Worlds" started from a hop blend of Simcoe, Eukuanot, Loral, HBC 438, HBC 630, HBC 344 and HBC 520. These hops helped produce a light bodied session IPA with a nice citra aroma and floral, fruity hop bitterness. ABV: 4.5%
