Hermitage Rakau Single Hop IPA

The star of our newest single hop IPA, Rakau, is another delicious offering from our friends down under in New Zealand. Specifically bred to be a dual-purpose variety, Rakau features moderately high alpha acid and oil content allowing it to explode with hop flavor without being overly bitter. The aroma is nice and assertive with notes of ripe stone fruit, especially peach, and a hint of pine. The flavor comes off a little brighter, accenting a grapefruit juice quality with highlights of tropical flowers. Very well balanced and incredibly drinkable, the sweet fruit flavor lingers on the palate between sips.
