Our world premiere recipe for April 2019 has been a year in the making! Dos Cabras Doppelbock has been aging in a Rock Town Wheat Whiskey barrel since Lent 2018 with a special addition: traditional souring agent pediococcus damnosus. The result is tart but not overpowering with a nice mellow finish. Originally brewed by monks in Munich, doppelbock sustained the fathers during their Lenten fasts. This tart twist on the classic lager is a one of a kind experience you will not want to miss!

Grains/Adjuncts: Munich, Vienna, Melanoiden, Pilsen, Blackprinz
Yeast: South German Lager, Pediococcus Damnosus
