Figueroa Mountain Gleis 9

Last November Jaime, David, and Kevin took a trip to Germany to brew a collaboration beer, visit a maltster, and find some inspiration. "Gleis" in German refers to a platform. In this case it was platform number 9 in the Munich East station where Jaime and his friend Benny first met up with Kevin and David. They were so excited to see each other in Germany that they missed the train because they were too busy taking in the scenery of the train station (drinking beers). After spending another hour taking in scenery (more beers), they realized they had missed their second train. After much more scenery, they finally caught the train to head out of Munich. Gleis 9 is a new school German pilsner featuring a new German hop varietal "Callista" which brings on fragrant aromas of citrus, resin, and gooseberry. We also used an extra premium pilsner malt to make this beer extremely light in color without using extracts. Step on Gleis 9, your scenery is waiting!
