Alt translates to old in German, but this beer isn’t old, it’s the style that is old. In the old days of brewing, Ales were fermented colder to add some fun and unique flavors to the brew. This beer features some very nice Cherry esters and some very well paired bready notes. It is a little darker in color, but very thin and light in body. It pairs well with foods or desserts, such as the very Minnesotan Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Cheers!
