5% Day: National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education

Shop for a cause! Swing by anytime throughout the day and pick-up lunch, groceries, and Whole Body essentials. 5% of net proceeds from sales will benefit the National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education. Funds raised from the 5% Day will directly fund their Education Without Walls programming which offers free year-round adventure expeditions to students that may be at risk of dropping out of school due to barriers associated with living in poverty and/or chronic homelessness. During their time in the wilderness, students receive programming based on a core curriculum that uses experiential hands-on education to address environmental sciences, interpersonal development, and the development of outdoor technical skills. Staff from the non-profit will be on-site to share information and answer questions from approximately 9a-7p.
