Rubicon Brewing Company
The Rubicon Brewing Company is one of the five oldest breweries in California and is the longest operating brewery in the Sacramento Area. The Rubicon is most notably known for being one of the first to develop the American Style IPA, winning gold medals in first back-to-back years that the IPA was judged at the Great American Beer Festival in 1989 and 1990. The Rubicon has continued to be known as a great neighborhood establishment located in the heart of Midtown Sacramento.
Today, the Rubicon carries on the tradition of balanced ales and lagers while pushing the limits on styles and flavors with the development of beers like the RBIPA, Grapefruit Hopsauce, and the First Contact Extraterrestrial Pale Ale. The Rubicon prides itself on being active members in the brewing community as member of the Northern California Brewers Guild, the California Craft Brewers Association, the Master Brewers Association of the Americas, among many others.
