Life changes and recipes continue to evolve. Our current iteration on our original Octopus beer sees less IBUs, more whirlpool and dry hops, and no lactose. Vanilla and a higher mash rate were used to make up for the body and sweetness lactose used to provide. 7 lbs/barrel of the finest Citra, El Dorado, Mosaic, & Azacca express aromas and flavors of juicy ripe mango, dried pineapple, sweet grass, and undertones of vanilla to round it out.
