We brewed a batch of IPA recently, and one of the brewers nicknamed "The Doctor", accidentally put in twice as much hops than intended. For fun, we decided to add in even more & dry hopped with 5 lbs of local hops from Four Star Farms, Inc. of Northfield, MA. We used chinook & cascade for the bittering hops, & dry hopped with cascade & magnum from Four Star Farms (5 lbs in total). This resulted in a 100+ ibu beer at 8.2%abv. This is how the "Doc's Double Whammy" was born. Accidents can make for some really fun brews! We hope you enjoy this limited release double IPA on tap only.
