Gold Medal at the “2007 World Beer Championship, 90pts” and Gold Medal at the “2007 L.A. County Fair Commercial Beer Competition”. Deep golden amber color with a frothy white head. Rich aromas of caramel, roasted grains, and earthy, citrusy hop aromas. A frothy entry leads to a dry-yet-fruity medium body of candied citrus peels, mild spice, flan, and toasted grains. Finishes with a long, nutty, citrus-accented, piney fresh hop fade. Nicely balanced and refreshing with very good depth of flavor.

Not only brewed with our full flavored base malt but also loaded with specialty malts to bring the color and flavor you'd expect in a Imperial Stout. Black with a deep red in the light, this looks and feels like what it should be. The volatile alcohols are all there in the amazing bouquet. This beer is fortified with the usage of 'panocha,' a type of piloncillo to bring even more richness to your discerning palate.

Sweet toffee, roasted nuts, and brown sugar aromas follows through to a smooth, dryish medium body with great roundness, purity, and depth. Finishes with a rich dark roasted nut, baker's chocolate, and earthy hop fade. Very nice!
Cucapa Runaway IPA

Brewed with our indigenous two row Mexican malt and generous amounts of hops, this IPA is a citric bomb! Using four different hop varieties we created four different citric flavors that complement each other. Tangerine, Lemon, Grapefruit and Lime blend in to create a full flavor hopped up brew. The color is golden and the body is relatively full for a beer this light in color. This is an artifact of our full flavored base malt in perfect balance with the bitterness of the hops at 75 IBU.

The first tequila barrel aged beer in the world! We took a batch of our BarleyWine and stuck it into tequila barrels for five months and here are the results. The experience is overwhelming. Tequila aromas dominate the nose as the malt comes through right behind it. Smooth to the tongue of the likes you would associate with a port or a fine liqueur; Wood, vanilla and malt and a whole smorgasbord of flavors.
