Beginning as a small brewpub nestled in the mountains of Breckenridge, Colorado we focused on brewing what tasted great after a long day on the slopes. 26 years later, at our new 12-acre campus in Littleton, CO, we’ve expanded our focus. We make beers for any occasion, and invite everyone to enjoy it. Our balanced recipes welcome all beer drinkers with a laid-back, Colorado vibe, while our specialty small batches and barrel-aged beers evoke more of the wild-west, imaginative ski-bum in us all. The first release of 471 IPA Barrel Series features Hüll Melon hops in the dry hop stage. Traces of honey dew melon and apricot accompany the rich whiskey and slightly smoky scents that the barrels lend. Classic oaky flavors from the barrels are present beginning to end, joined by a bit of vanilla and nutmeg. The base 471 Double IPA is known for its big malty mouthfeel, and this variation of the beer is no exception.
