A longtime Wynkoop cult favorite, Patty’s Chile Beer is a unique golden ale with glorious green chile flavors and aromas, but no heat. Immensely flavorful, refreshing and quaffable, it’s a gourmet creation built with Marris Otter malts, British hops, and late additions of roasted Anaheim peppers and smoked ancho peppers. One of our many pioneering Wynkoop beers, Patty's history goes back to approximately 1990 and was a creation of our famed original brewer, Russell Schehrer. Patty's is one of the craft beer movements first chile beers. It is Great American Beer Festival silver medalist. The beer is named in honor of Westword founder and publisher Patricia Calhoun.
