Like the Dachshund, this brew has a mighty bark with a little bite! The Barking Helles Bock is a Lager, light in color, but full body and flavor. We used Pilsner malt at the base with a touch of honey malt for a splash of sweetness and malty complexity. To give the beast its bark we hopped it up with just enough Mandarina Bavaria and Zythos, to enhance the flavor and aroma of the beer. Floral notes and citrusy hop characters allow the beer to be quaffable.
