Inspired by the Trappist Brewers of Belgium, this is a Quadruple Belgian style ale of great strengths. It has a deep copper/reddish brown coloring and a full-bodied richness of raisins, plums and figs and definitely contains a winy characteristic with a slight tart finish, all of which are largely a byproduct of the yeast strain indicative of the style.
