A big Double IPA featuring big Spruce flavor and aroma! 4 lbs of spruce tips give this beer an aroma that makes you think you're wearing a Christmas wreath for a necklace and a provides an unmistakable spruce flavor that has an interesting berry jam undertone. Loads of Simcoe, Cascade and Centennial hops complement the spruce character with a piney, citrus dimension to remind you that you're still drinking an Double IPA (even if there's a spruce tree planted in your glass!) We used just enough malt to keep these hops in check and provide a refreshingly dry finish. Clocking in at 9.6%, this wonderful seasonal beer will certainly keep you warm during the cold months.
