Brewed by Ska for Collaboration Festival with Devil's Backbone and Gordon Biersh breweries. This is out take on an American Light Lager brewed with the German heirloom variety Barke Pilsen Malt and New Zealand's Nelson Sauvin Hops. A very light bready malt aroma followed by a fruity, almost grapefruit and white wine character. The flavor is similar to the aroma, yet chased by a prominent bitterness, then finishes with a spritzy white wine note. The body is extremely light with an almost watery mouthfeel and leaves the palate with only a hint of lingering hop oiliness.
