The best local ghost tale deserves a local harvest brew to go with it. In honor of Ol’Big Lizz, we decided to brew up a beer made with locally harvested butternut squash from Emily’s Produce. We roasted it, then added a mix of toasted malts along with nutmeg, clove and cinnamon to give you a subtly spiced and well balanced spin on a “Pumpkin” style ale. Orange-brown in hue, this beer is perfect for those chilly fall evenings and campfire tales.
