Oakshire I Think It's One Of Those Hazys

The world has been enveloped with the haze craze. You can’t walk into your favorite tavern or pub without there being five “hazy’s” on draft. You don’t mind them, you actually quite like them when done right; but more often than not you find yourself staring at your glass not quite sure what you see. “Why does it look like the other IPA that didn’t say it was hazy? Maybe that one was actually hazy. Are they even hazy’s at all? What is a hazy?”

We teamed up with our good friends at Claim 52 and dreamt up a Double IPA stuffed with piles of oats for a decadent pillowy and full mouthfeel. We then crushed the wort with late additions of Denali and Simcoe hops. After fermenting with our favorite estery English yeast strain we pounded the beer with a 50/50 dry-hop of more Denali and Simcoe at a rate of over 6lbs per barrel. Pouring with a look resembling fruit juice and aromas of enticing pineapple, papaya and overripe mango, the beer finishes over the palate with huge tropical flavor and a balanced bitterness that will leave you wondering NO MORE whether your beer is one of those hazy’s!
