For the second installment of our canned rotating hazy/hoppy series we proudly introduce Brachiosaurus (you can call it Brachio). Brachio is a new take on hazy Double IPA. We introduce our house hazy grain bill built on English malted and NW rolled oats. The beer receives massive additions of Mosaic hop oil and New Zealand grown Moutere in the kettle and Whirlpool. Fermented with out favorite hazy yeast strain before being dry-hopped at a rate of 8#'s/bbl with Oregon grown Amarillo, Yakima grown Mosaic and New Zealand Motueka, with a touch of NW grown Citra.
The result is a sensory assault of hoppy delight. Pouring with a huge fluffy white head that jiggles above the rim of the glass, one is immediately greeted with bursting aroma's of tropical fruit and danky resin.
The beer crosses the palate at first with sticky hop bitterness from complete hop saturation. The mouthfeel leading to full and pillowy from globs and globs of pillowy oats. Bright stone fruit, papaya and citrus envelop the tongue as the beer washes effortlessly down the throat leaving the drinker yearning for another sip.
Dangerously drinkable at 8.4% we are stoked to introduce Brachio to the world!
