Send Lawyers, Guns and Money....
It was 1962 and Flor De Cana Barrels were bing filled with world class Rum.
They were aged and refilled through the years and weathered many many years soaking up their contents, revolutions, devastating earthquakes andstorms all while at the base of Nicaragua's most active volcano San Cristóbal.
Now I'm hiding in Honduras
I'm a desperate man
Send lawyers, guns and money
We have gone to great lengths to get these barrels which were fresh emptied and full of the finer characters of Rum, Notes of pineapple, creme brulee, andtangerine.
Bursting with character is our Plum Jerkum.
This was made from late harvest plums so it has a much sweeter character. Our Plum Jerkum is then aged in these barrels as they impart all that they have to offer, rounding this into a tropical masterpiece.
With guava, pineapple, and cherry this finishes at 13.7 % alcohol by volume. It is reminiscent of all the atmosphere of Central America and might have you feeling like you are "Hiding in Honduras and a desperate man".
There is no way to describe the full character of Lawyers Plums and Money. When barrels of this character are used they lend something magical to what lives inside them and it can never be duplicated. an average of 9 gallons of Jerkum is lost from each barrel we fill during aging thus further building character and body. The Barrels compliment whatever is in them and fully integrate into new essences and flavor profiles.
