Altbier means “old beer” in German; meant to describe the old world method of brewing. Our rendition of the Düsseldorf classic is a ruby brown ale with a unique ester nose reminiscent of sugar, nectar, and subtle banana. Malty, souffle-like flavor with a touch of burnt sugar. Light caramel tones with a sweet finish that gives way to lingering hoppy flavors.
