A deep pink colored saison with a big red fruit and floral nose. Rustic breadiness comes from the malt, but the addition of hibiscus and raspberries really drive the overall fruit flavor. Saison yeast shows through with moderate minty, spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with high carbonation give a zippy mouthfeel. A “war bonnet” was an Old West term for the feathered headdress worn by the Native Americans.
