Wildflower honey meets Hungarian Oak; this semi-sweet mead is fresh from a Silver Medal win at the Orpheus cup! Medium gold with excellent legs and still, it has a slightly sweet, floral aroma with spicy wood notes from the Hungarian Oak. The flavor balances the oak and wildflower nose with assertive, yet smooth alcohol warmth. The mouthfeel is heavier than expected due to the wood aging lending a medium mouthfeel that lingers.
