Crafted from Mesquite honey, this sweet mead is the first time we have used this honey type. Light gold, clear, with excellent legs and slight carbonation it is visually appealing. It has a light, sweet aroma with clean, soft, wood notes from the mesquite. Subtle hints of butterscotch lend complexity. The flavor is like the aroma with the mesquite being more prominent. The mouthfeel is heavier than expected with butterscotch on the finish lending a pleasant note.
