A proprietary blend of several types of honey (Alfalfa, Avocado Blossom, Mesquite, Orange Blossom, Wildflower, and Zambian Wildflower) and several malts comprise this mead which is referred to as a braggot. Braggots combine the best of beer and mead to create a unique experience. To that end, 10 Penny Lane is based on the English Barley Wine with its assertive hops. It also features a complex malt framework that compliments the honey aroma and flavor. Furthermore the flavor hints at dark fruit, with notes of toffee, toast and assertive yet balanced bitterness with honey sweetness.
