What happens when you add Medium Toast French Oak to a wildflower honey? Savage (wild) Bois (wood).
This dry mead is a happy accident. California Wildflower Honey, Palomar Mountain Spring Water, ale yeast, and French Oak. It's a full bodied, balanced, rich mead that may find its place amongst your collection of fine Belgians or when you're drinking it from the bottle at a bonfire on the beach.
The wildflower honey note tends to hit first, then all kinds of confectionary spices come through: cinnamon, vanilla, clove.
