Cascadian Dark Ale is perhaps the preferred nomenclature for this beer given the prominent use of local, dried, whole-cone Cascade hops from Mighty Axe Hop Farm in the whirlpool. Post fermentation, a generous dry-hopping with Cascade and Equinox leave this beer with aromas of white pine resin and ripe tangerine. Bright, crisp pine flavors up front give way to a mildly tannic, dark chocolate-esque finish.
