An ale that is light and crisp while medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Years ago an Alaskan hunter shot a Kodiak bear who then attacked him. He took a knife made by Union Cutlery Co. of Olean, NY and killed the bear. In appreciation of the knife having saved his life, the hunter sent the bear skin and letter detailing his "k a bar" adventure to Union Cutlery Co. Thus, the KA-BAR trademark was adopted and an American icon established in 1923.
