A robust porter based on an early 1800s recipe for porter from London. Focuses on chocolate and caramel flavors vs roastiness (in my mind this is what makes it not a stout). English hops give a mild floral bitterness and English ale yeast gives a slight fruity flavor that compliments the malt flavor nicely.
