Solely Citra is a single-hopped American Pale Ale based on the Punch List Pale Ale. The twist is that it’s hopped throughout the entire brewing process with only one hop variety, Citra. Flavors and aromas abound for Citra, but mostly it’s described as tropical fruit (mango, guava, pineapple, passionfruit), citrusy (orange zest, grapefruit), piney (resiny), with a touch of dank. This batch was intentionally unfiltered to let every bit of Citra goodness shine through unobstructed. Any haziness in the beer is completely normal and due to the large amounts of Citra hops used, about 3.7#’s per bbl. ABV: 6.0%. Enjoy!
