In an effort to showcase the different characteristics which yeast can have on beer, our brewer pulled aside some of our house favorite Bergen Blonde ale and fermented a small batch with a Belgian yeast strain (rather than the usual English strain). The resulting beer elicits pronounced fruity esters alongside a clove-like spiciness which balance to malt. We encourage you to try both versions side by side to analyze and enjoy what yeast can do!
