Wilfried Erdman was the first German to circumnavigate the world in a boat. Our doppelbock last year was Circumnavigator, but we made some changes for this year’s batch. This year’s version is a also a rich malty lager with big melanoidins, notes of burnt sugar, and a hint of cherry. Decidedly German. Dangerously delicious.
