Dry Dock Tasman Pils (New Zealand Pilsner)

This new beer hits the sweet spot between a crisp pale lager and flavorful IPA. The brewing process followed the traditional decoction method during the mash phase and then we switched our mindset into thinking of things like an IPA. The chosen hops were Motueka and Nectaron, both grown in New Zealand. Motueka (a cousin of Saaz) provides a tropical backbone with accents of lemon/lime. Nectaron provides a big pop of pineapple, stonefruit and some supporting citrus notes
