Once a year in late summer we close our doors on a Monday, head up to Palisade, pick fresh hops, swim in the river, camp, then get up early to head back to Denver, and brew our Fresh Hop beer. Keeping the freshly picked hops cold from farm to kettle helps release aromatics unique to the style. The nose will transform you to the beautiful hop fields of the western plains, lush citrus and fresh pine resin on the nose while the drink is balanced between bitterness and sweet malt notes. Worth the trip, this is always one of our favorite brews to make.
