Swamp Monster is a black ale brewed with chocolate malt and other roasted and smoked malts as well as Belgian dark candi syrup. This beer is aggressively hopped to provide a devious layer of hop bitterness and flavor that cuts through the roastiness. This beer doesn't fit well into any one category. It's sort of a monster.
