Café con leche literally translates to “coffee with milk” and it is a bold coffee roast blend with scalded milk at a ratio of 1:1. This beer emulates a traditional cup of local culture. It has an enticing coffee aroma and flavor with nuances of condensed milk and light vanilla notes. This milk stout blends roasted barley with the bold taste of Cuban espresso beans and a rounding sweetness from the use of lactose, a non-fermentable milk sugar, which adds scalded condensed milk notes and lends a full silkiness to the mouthfeel of the beer.
