Button Brew House & Crooked Tooth Brewing Co Juletide

This ale was made for and dedicated to Julie Vernon, one of the amazing owners of Crooked Tooth Brewing. Julie recently had a brain tumor removed and is successfully recovering. She is in our thoughts as she continues to heal. This was a fun experimental collaboration, that gives you a lot of complexity and satisfaction. We started with a South English brown ale then added oranges and organic cacao powder in the mash. In the boil, we added orange peel and allspice then fermented it with a Belgian Witbier yeast that gives it a nice estery spice profile.
