Cream ales are light and crisp while medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. This one got a big dose of habanero peppers in secondary fermentation. Flaked corn is another common way to differentiate cream ales, and ours is almost imperceptibly hopped with Nugget hops. The cream ale characteristics make their way through a slight heat/kick from the habaneros, which spent about a week in the beer prior to its transfer.
