We brew our Oktoberfest beer as a tribute to the Märzen beers that have been served at Germany’s Oktoberfest celebrations since 1818. Traditionally, these lagers are brewed in March and fermented slowly during the summer months.
Our version of this traditional autumn lager boasts a sweet malt aroma with notes of caramel and tastes of bready, toasted malts with a subtle sweetness. The flavors are rounded out with a hint of hops in the finish. Not one to stray from tradition, our Oktoberfest is stored cold for 10 days after brewing to ensure the distinctly smooth flavor that this style of beer is known for.
