Second gear of our “Bikes and Beer” series, this beautiful, black beer does not drink at all like you would expect judging by its appearance. I use debittered black malts to give it its color, while hopping and dry hopping it quite aggressively to bring forward a nice burst of piney and citrus hop aroma and flavor. Close your eyes and you might think you are drinking a Northwest IPA. So pedal down to fill a pint of this true Northwest style but make sure to roll up your pant leg or else you may be the next victim of Chain Bite!
