Funk Yeah Raspberry is our gueuze inspired beer that is re-fermented with raspberries. We carefully selected 1,2, and 3-year-old barrels inoculated with our culture and a few barrels from our spontaneous program to find the perfect blend of acidity and character. We use two different sources of raspberries to achieve both deep and bright raspberry characteristics. Brilliant red color with wispy pink foam leads into aromas of jammy, sweet, and tart raspberry with a flavor that perfectly mirrors that intensity with a beautiful soft acidity, touch of funk and dry finish. Funk Yeah 2018 releases are our first blend of 1, 2, & 3-year old barrels and showcases the complexity and age of the barrels and a glimmer of what's to come in the future.
