Biscuit and Carmel malts lay the foundation as bright earthy hops show what makes this Ale our number one seller. In Colonial times, False Cape gained a reputation for being a ship graveyard. From the Atlantic Ocean the land mass resembled Cape Henry, An entrance to the Chesapeake Bay. Ships and their navigators were lured into shallow waters where more than often the ran aground. The Survivors built a community with the cypress wood that washed ashore for the shipwrecks; creating one of the first communities in Virginia named Wash Woods.
