Appalachian Kevin Bacon Porter

Brewed to honor PA’s most famous pig, we give you, Kevin Bacon Porter. Kevin recently went on a runaway adventure from the farm, but was thankfully reunited with his family, by luring him back in with sticky buns! Mild roasted notes from the dark malts are supported by a nice blend of sweetness and smoke. Over 10 lbs. of fresh cooked, house-made maple bacon was steeped in the hot wort to give this beer as much of that bacon nuance as possible! We then conditioned the beer on Cinnamon and Vanilla, as a nod to his favorite snack! Ideal for the cooler days that are upon us, this beer is a perfect addition to our holiday line up!
